One of my favorites are @patricktabeauty , only thing I don’t like is packaging getting dirty as soon you touch it, it’s beautiful but annoying 🫣

I can’t believe that this is matte foundation and looks so good on skin, lightweight, breathable, natural looking! Obsessed!

As MUA is very important to protect yourself and your business!
There is so many different inquiries and if you are going to accept every just to have clients most likely your business will be disrespected.
Definitely NO to apply just eyeshadow/lashes or so… it’s like you ask hairstylist to cut just left side of hair and right you will do it…
Noo to booking without Deposit- that secure time and date and telling us you are really coming! Also Contract must be signed!
Noo for just Bridal Trial , that’s fine but your Wedding date is not secured than.. if anyone else wants that day we will book them , you are not showing real interest in our business … you can always cancel after Trial if you are not satisfied!
Noo to client that doesn’t want to pay Travel fee- for time we pack , cary around 50lb + kit set , clean pack, we can do 1-2 clients at our location, traval fee is must!
Nooo to apply whole makeup with clients makeup kit- we have products that we trust to work with over years- yes we can do lipstick or lipgloss or some of your favorite products but not whole face!

Besides time and good application, there are so many products used for any makeup look: skin prep, cream base , powder and so. Worth of products we use for one application is very often over 1000-1500$ .

Once in a month or two 🫣 i have full at home facial ;) see part 1. At previous reels.
Foreo Mini, Bear and Iris I am using more often like ones a week or two, but definitely should be even more because you can see results!
Unfortunately my skin reacted on @youthtothepeople products i have and I need to try out some others. Looks like cleanser and serum makes my skin tickle and getred a bit…

When I saw this mascara, I knew I would buy it! Now is it worth it?!? Honestly… yes, for the most part. What immediately drew me in was the brush—its unique design only has bristles on one side, and that detail alone made me curious. It gives me control, separation, and volume in just the right way. The packaging? So aesthetic and bold, super luxe and very Prada.

Does it give a great false-lash effect? Definitely. My lashes look fuller, lifted, and defined without clumping. Is it better than every mascara I’ve tried? Tried the @refybeauty lip liner in Suede and lip gloss in Oak—and this combo is so Stunning.
The liner is super long-lasting, the gloss gives a juicy shine without being sticky, and the shades together? Nude perfection.

I got these for free at the NYC pop-up (no obligation to post), but I’ve been testing them out and had to share. I’m also really glad they updated the lip liner formula—having to set it separately used to drive me crazy! This one is self-setting now, just sets fast, so you have to work quickly or it gets harder to blend. Also, don’t twist it up too far or it might snap (been there).

As someone who has Combination skin type and large pores i can tell you primers work well if you choose properly for your concerns!
I will mention also that my clients confirm my story as well by letting me know that their makeup last so long! Tehy make smoot canvas for your foundation!
Recently i descover @diorbeauty Backstage Face & Body Primer that helps fade redness and imperfections, and reduce the appearance of pores. The complexion is mattified all day long ( i was wearing it itself all day and kept me matte all day long) and instantly brightened. Great thing about it is that formula is with a high concentration of glycerin, enriched with shea butter which gives you hydration and infused with mattifying powders, light-reflecting micro-pearls and pigmented powders which helps with matte finish and illuminates.

Have clean and organized makeup kit, sanitizing products and using disposable wands to apply clients makeup (mascara, lipstick and so) , clean washed brushes ( not just cean with dry cleaners) is how @kristinamakeupnyc doing it!
And yesss I get all messy around after makeup application, try to get everything back on place will take longer to do makeup, bit still don’t just made huge mess that you can’t function…

Most important advice as Makeup Artist to future Brides : Be honest with your makeup artist!
You are not hurting our feelings or artistry if you said you don’t like that much blush, lipstick colors or lashes.
Whatever you have in your mind speak up. Also huge mistake is let others ( family, friends or so) decide what is best for you. Make sure you choose something that you love to wear no matter what others think and be confident with your decision!

When it comes to fast and nice makeup looks for Everyday wear I always love to go with simple look. With just adding glitter eyeshadow (yes with my fingers lol) , entrance eyes with brown eyeliner and good mascara can’t go wrong! Brush brow with 2in1 @grandecosmetics tinted brow gel ( tint and browcare-growth)
